Young Players Alumni Hit the Big Time
Many Young Players Ensemble alumni have taken their skills into the big time. They are spread across the globe working in film, theatre and television as well as conflict resolution and peace programs. We are so very proud of all of their accomplishments. Liz Feldman (If Kids Ruled the World cast, 1992) Liz is a staff writer on the TV show “Ellen” with Ellen DeGeneres and recently won an Emmy in 2006 for her writing on “Ellen”. Other credits include “Blue Collar TV” with Jeff Foxworthy, “Mad TV” and Nickelodeon’s “All That”. Her show, "Letters Never Sent" premiered at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in 2005.
Sara Paxton (“Orphan Magic” cast, 2000)
Sara starred in the feature film “Aquamarine” as the mermaid Aquamarine. She has appeared on “Will and Grace”, “Malcolm in the Middle” and as Darcy on the TV show “Darcy’s Wild Life”.
Steven Parker (Mythical Dreams cast, 2003) - Steven is featured in the film "Rebound" with Martin Lawrence as the character of Wes. http://www.reboundthemovie.com/home.html
Ben Cote (Ya! cast, 1993) - Ben is a senior at Georgetown University planning to attend the University of Ulster in 2006 to pursue a master's degree in peace and conflict studies.
Mary Ann Springer (Mythical Dreams cast, 2003) - Mary Ann is performing with the Second City Teen Improv Troupe and played the role of Zoe in the film "Cleats of Imminent Doom."
